TANDEM Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship
The German University Foundation (DUS) has developed the TANDEM scholarship program for students from higher educational backgrounds.

Aim and Benefits of TANDEM Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship
- Placement with a university professor with relevant expertise and local knowledge for a mentoring program.
- Support of the mentoring relationship by the DUS
- Seminars for the development of key skills (twice a year, mandatory) on the following topics:
- Mentoring as an opportunity and a responsibility
- Self-management and learning management
- Presentation training
- Job application training
- Business etiquette and communication
- Conflict management
- One personal one-on-one coaching session with a professional coach during your studies
- Reimbursement of travel expenses for seminars and other trips related to TANDEM
- Participation in scientific events (e.g., DHV symposium) and integration into networks
- Provision of an annual access budget per scholarship recipient for study-related costs
- Digital package for the purchase of digital technology, once included in the scholarship
Requirements for TANDEM Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
- Start of studies in the summer semester of 2026 or in the winter semester of 2026/27
- Parental home without academic degree
- A place in a Bachelor's degree program at a German university or college (excluding dual and private universities) or
- A place in a state examination program at a German university or college (excluding dual and private universities). The TANDEM scholarship program is not aimed at Master's students.
- Abitur/university entrance qualification at least good

- a letter of motivation (max. one page) in which you explain your expectations of the scholarship
- a tabular CV (max. 2 pages)
- the high school diploma or university entrance qualification certificate
Admission notice or enrollment certificate
