2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship Requirements:
- In order to be eligible to apply for the 2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of the OIC and the NAM member countries
- For undergraduate and general medicine programmes – citizens younger than 25
- For graduate and residency programmes – citizens younger than 30
- For doctoral programmes – citizens younger than 40

Required Documents for Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026
- To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Completed application form
- Diplomas or Transcripts from prior High School or University studies
- Copy of Passport
- Document on general health status (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C tests)
- CV or Resume
- Motivation Letter
- Proof of English Proficiency (for programmes in foreign languages: for undergraduate programmes IELTS 5, TOEFL 40, for other programmes IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 50)
- Note: All documents must be translated into English or Russian and notarized.
How To Apply for 2026 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship (Step-by-Step)
- To apply for the Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship, the candidates must:
- be officially nominated by respective state entities of their country (Ministries, Embassies, etc.) to the Embassies or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- For official nomination by the respective state entities/government authorities (Ministries,
- Embassies, etc.) the applicants must submit the required documents to the relevant
- authorities for the first stage of the application process. The last date of the submission is
- April 15, 2026 at 6 PM Baku time.
- If the candidates are officially nominated by the respective government authorities they will
- proceed to the second stage of the application process and apply through Study in
- Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website (portal.edu.az).
- After logging in SIACAS website applicants must choose the relevant Admission channel to apply.
