About the NHR Scholarship Program
The NHR (National High Performance Computing) scholarship is designed for students from backgrounds in computer science, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or related fields, who are passionate about High-Performance Computing.
Selected candidates will undertake their PhD at one of nine NHR Centers affiliated with top German universities. These centers are located in different cities across Germany and offer diverse research opportunities.
During the course of the scholarship, students will also have the unique chance to conduct research for six months at another NHR Center apart from their chosen focus area, known as a secondment. This exposure will allow scholars to diversify their expertise and build a wider academic network.

Eligibility Criteria

Additional eligibility conditions listed in the subject-specific doctoral regulations must be fulfilled.
