Eligibility criteria
- The MEXT Research Scholarship is open to applicants from any country. There are no restrictions based on nationality.

- Master students must have completed an undergraduate program before applying for a Master's degree. Final-year students may also apply.
- Ph.D. Students: Applicants with a master's degree may apply for Doctoral Degree programs.
